• Provide for useful and rewarding work experience for the student throughout their education.
• Include industry partners in a wider range of in-school activities including awards, graduation etc.
• Enable industry partners to contribute in a practical and dynamic way to the development of course content and structure that anticipates and matches evolving industry trends and practises.
• Enable best practises to be made more readily available to staff and students.
• Provide for more significant and visible role models in these sectors.
• Provide for the development of course structures and content that reflects best practice and the current and future needs of the respective sectors.
• Offer access for students to mentors in these sectors.
• Raise the profile of a career in these sectors with students, parents and career guides and present it as a challenging and rewarding choice.
• Raise awareness within industry of courses available at the school (particularly in continuing education)
